| Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeons of Ventura County, APC offers the latest advances in cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgery. We perform all of our coronary artery bypass procedures using the "beating heart" or "off pump" techniques. We are the only group in Ventura County performing "minimally invasive valve" surgery. We can now offer robotic heart and lung procedures to our patients as we have been trained in the Da Vinci robot. For our lung patients we offer video-assisted thoracic surgery and robotic surgery to essentially avoid the need for painful rib spreading procedures. We also provide endoscopic vessel harvesting for our heart and vascular patients to avoid painful incisions in the legs or abdomen and promote faster recovery and shorter hospitalizations. In addition, we treat varicose and spider veins using the latest outpatient techniques such as laser vein ablation and sclerotherapy.
